I created this page in memory of my first cat,Sammy, who went to Rainbow Bridge on Feb. 8, 1997. Sammy was a beautiful Maine Coon, who was given to me, when he was a month old in 1986. I fell in love with Sammy, he was special, because of him, I became a catlover. You see, I used to dislike cats, The cats I ever met before Sammy were mean, and nasty and not only that, I was used to dogs. Sammy grew up to be so affectionate, playful, with a quiet purr, that one had to feel him purr. I miss him so much, especially at feeding time, he was the first one to come when he heard the cat food can open. Sammy liked being groomed, he would sit on the counter, with his paws hanging over the edge, while I brushed him. Sammy got big, he was over 16 pounds. When the vet found a tumor in his intestines, we had it removed, but it was too late. I thought he was recovering from the surgery, and now he is gone. The vet called and said the tumor was lyphoma cancer, so I guess he would have died anyway. It doesn't make his passing any easier, for I loved and still love that cat. He will always be in my heart and memories. Sammy my darling cat, I dedicate this page to you, where you will be immortalized on the internet. I love you Sammy I miss you so much Til we meet again, Love, Mommy

I got this award from M.E.O.W shelter for saving Poppie's life. He was brought to a shelter from someone I know who didnt give me a chance to pick him up from her house..she brought the cat to the shelter because he was going outside the litterbox..well when I found out about the cat being brought to the shelter, I went right down there and got him!!He has not given me a bit of trouble!!He is a polydactyl and is a shorthaired orange and white affectionate kitty of 8yrs old.
